Tessa’s journey as an artist started from a very young age. Growing up in a household full of music and art on a beautiful island in Canada, Tessa was given so many opportunities to grow as an artist. She was gifted her first camera when she was around 14 years old and has been in love with the creative aspect that can come from photography ever since. Tessa travelled to the United States when she was 16 and participated in classes that helped further Tessa’s passion towards portraiture. She continues this process of creativity at Southern Virginia University.

This final series is inspired from the biblical teachings of “The 7 Deadly Sins and 7 Heavenly Virtues”. In her project, she is demonstrating the contrast of each corresponding sin and virtue with her 7 different models. With this, she hopes to show the contrast in human beings depending on the choices they make and what effect that can have on someone’s life, soul and essence.
